This book presents the important role of indigenous people to create a sustainable forest management. It also shows how several forest communities in some islands in Indonesia including West Java, Sumatera, Kalimantan, Lombok, Central Sulawesi, and East Flores. The communities are struggling to protect their forests from political and economic challenges in the country.
